Going for the Gold

Camden has been taking gymnastics since we moved here. He was selected for the advanced class after his first month! They recently held the first gymnastics meet here at Graf. Camden competed in the parallel bar, the vault and the floor excercises.

Beginning his floor routine.

Check out that form. Camden worked really hard at all the skills in his floor routine.
During a short break, they had the daddies come out for a handstand competition. Suprisingly there were 7-8 dads who came out. Too bad for them Jerry kicked their butts! He also had fairly impressive form. Camden was cheering so loud and grinning ear to ear.
Camden won the gold medal for his floor routine!!!
Here the medalists for the floor routine are after receiving their medals. Go Camden!!!
Camden, his gold medal, and his coach, Ms.Allison. Ms. Allison was great and worked really hard with Camden, even when he wasn't so easy to work with. We are on a break from gymnastics until next year.

Old MacDonald Had a Farm...E-I-E-I-Ooops!

Tristan was the main character in the 2nd grade play at his school, E-I-E-I-Oooops! His wife was played by his real-life sweetheart, Bella. The class practiced for two solid months before the big show.

During the opening song,Old McDonald and Mrs.Old McDonald did a little square dancing. Tristan didn't tell me about that part and it wasnt in the script. He did such a great job,I had tears in my eyes!

Each class represented a different group of animals, pigs, sheep, chickens, one mule and one cow.The chicks sang and were "adorable" and the pigs told jokes. All in an attempt to get the farm cow to "Mooooo".

The play was a top-notch performance and all the kids did excellent! I have a true thespian in the family.

End of Season Party

Tristan's end of the season party for basketball was at Megaplay. The kids always have a blast!
Tristan giving his brothers a ride. Working out those leg muscles.

Owen going for a swing on the ballswing. He was a little nervous..can you tell?

A little Matrix action as Tristan and his friend, Kelby play on the trampoline.
Coach Kris presenting Tristan with his first trophy.
He is so proud of it. He really earned it. He was a great rebounder, a team player and always gave it his best. We are so proud of him!
The team posing for a group photos to make all the mommies happy. Stay tuned for tee-ball season next! The Bunker All Stars are making their marks.
